Letter to Readers

Dear Readers,

Over the last week and a half, Chain Bridge Investing (“CB”) has been contemplating the future of this website and its purpose. The original goal of this site was to mirror the research and investment actions taken by CB and publicize part of those processes. In an effort to obtain daily readership and compete with many other financial sites/blogs, CB tried to produce a lot of information on this website as well as the Daily Download, which was very time consuming and focused on the day-to-day news. As time has passed, the focus of the site has increasingly become more immersed in the daily financial noise and details rather than critical investment research and ideas. This trade-off has to be undone.

Going forward, CB has decided to reduce the site’s focus on the daily and refocus it on research and critical financial concepts/ ideas. Research will drive the content of the site in the future – instead of the daily news. This move will, initially, be a step backwards. Yet, with a little time the site will be more useful to readers than it has been in the past. CB’s research will also allow for more interesting content such as industry interviews.

Basically, the model for the site has changed and CB believes the new model will produce better long-term yields. From the present to the future, the Daily Download will not be produced anymore. It was a good run, but not where CB’s focus and resources will be best utilized. Thanks for your time and support.
